Well, it's difficult to believe that 2010 is nearly over. Our Christmas newsletter will be with you (check your inbox, and your spam folder just in case) at the start of the new week! It's packed with info regarding injuries and health, as well as a new treatment/massage we are offering called Ayurvedic Massage (see the write-up on the website) for more details. We have a few new staff members too, so look out for the new faces in both clinics to accompany the old faces - and you can read up on each therapist on the 'Who we are' section of the website.
We wrapped Johnny English 2, the movie I have been doing physiotherapy on for the past few weeks, and the crew and artists are enjoying a much needed holiday (after 67 days of filming!!). Hong Kong was wonderful in terms of physiotherapy awareness. I am still shocked at how few people know exactly what Physiotherapists do... so I was thrilled to promote the profession in the industry. Days consisted of the usual physiotherapy treatment for injuries, warm-ups before action/stunt scenes and advice on the set with regards to the actual injuries being treated. It was all good for PhysioEdge awareness and for the profession as a whole! So, look out for us on the credits!
This image is of the make-shift office on location when I was in Macau (we were in Hong Kong for 2 weeks, and Macau for a few days before returning to London). It was a pretty intense environment, but great to be there!
2010 sees a few special offers at both sites as we close off the year. Give us a call for further information, or pop in and see what we have to offer!
Have a wonderful Christmas season - Eat, drink and be merry (and to risk sounding corny...) DON'T fall over! (Drinking induced injuries are not ideal...)
See you in 2011, and look out for the newsletter next week!
