    Gill | Physiotherapist

    Gill is a chartered physiotherapist recognised for her wide-ranging clinical expertise, and two decades of experience across private practice and advanced musculoskeletal medicine. Originally from South Africa, she graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2000 before relocating to the UK, where she worked at St Thomas’s Hospital and later founded Physio Edge clinics in Chiswick and Wandsworth.

    Her clinics have become known not only for high-quality physiotherapy but also for specialist work with performers in the film, media, and dance industries, supporting elite artists with movement optimisation, injury prevention, and on-screen performance demands.

    Gill has a long-standing commitment to continuous professional development and has undertaken extensive postgraduate training throughout her career. This includes diplomas in Orthopaedic Medicine, Pilates training, advanced certification in Diagnostic Ultrasound, and postgraduate Injection Therapy. She also holds an independent prescribing licence, allowing her to integrate diagnosis, imaging, prescribing, and injection-based treatments into a seamless patient pathway.

    Expanding her clinical scope further, Gill completed postgraduate training in Longevity Medicine. This allows her to offer an evidence-based, preventative approach to ageing and metabolic health, including hormone management, metabolic optimisation, peptide therapy, and lifestyle-based interventions aimed at improving long-term wellbeing and performance.

    Her interest in practical clinical innovation has led to the creation of useful resources for both therapists and patients, including a kinesiology taping textbook and a magnesium-infused massage gel designed for home use.

    Gill blends physiotherapy, advanced interventions, and longevity medicine to help people move, age, and perform at their best.

    Josefin | Physiotherapist

    Josefin is a passionate Physiotherapist with degrees in both Sports Therapy and Physiotherapy. Her journey continued with a Master's in Musculoskeletal Medicine. She's gained vast experience treating various musculoskeletal injuries, specialising in sports-related issues, posture problems, and rehabilitation.

    Josefin's approach is personal and hands-on, blending tailored exercises with individual goals. She emphasises prevention and holistic well-being, believing in overall health enhancement.

    Beyond her clinic, she's an enthusiastic ultra-marathon and trail runner, tackling challenges from deserts to mountains. Her running passion enriches her expertise in treating running-related injuries.

    Andreas | Physiotherapist

    Andreas is a Chartered Physiotherapist with an MSc in Sports Injury Rehabilitation from the University of Salford, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of South Wales. Andreas is dedicated to the rehabilitation and prevention of injuries, and has had extensive experience working with elite athletes.

    Outside of work, Andreas loves spending time outdoors and socialising. He is an avid road cyclist and enjoys running and working out at the gym

    Ben | Physiotherapist

    Ben is a physiotherapist originally from Malaysia, bringing a diverse movement background and a specialist interest in climbing-related physiotherapy to the team. His experience spans gymnastics, badminton, parkour, and bouldering'; an eclectic mix that gives him a deep appreciation for technique, coordination, strength, and functional movement.

    This varied athletic history allows Ben to take a holistic approach when assessing and treating his clients. He understands the physical demands of dynamic sports and uses that insight to support climbers and non-climbers alike, helping them move with more efficiency, confidence, and control.

    Ben particularly enjoys working collaboratively with his patients, breaking down movement patterns and refining technique to enhance both sport-specific performance and everyday physical capability. Whether someone is managing an injury, aiming to reduce pain, or striving to reach a new performance level, he focuses on thoughtful, targeted rehabilitation that empowers people to understand and improve their bodies.

    His calm, attentive manner and strong analytical skills create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and guided towards meaningful change.

  • Sarah | Physiotherapist

    Sarah is a dedicated chartered physiotherapist who began her career with a BSc in Sport Rehabilitation, giving her a strong foundation in injury prevention, functional movement, and evidence-based rehabilitation. She has since built a diverse clinical background across NHS services, private practice, and pitch-side sports environments, allowing her to confidently support patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

    With a particular interest in MSK health and restoring optimal movement, Sarah finds genuine reward in helping people reduce pain, improve function, and get back to doing what they love. Her approach is supportive, thorough, and patient-centred. She develops tailored treatment and exercise plans that fit seamlessly into each individual’s lifestyle, ensuring patients feel empowered, informed, and in control of their long-term physical wellbeing.

    Sarah believes in building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere in every session. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a long-standing issue, or striving to enhance your performance, she works collaboratively to guide you towards meaningful, sustainable progress.

    Outside of the clinic, Sarah enjoys dipping into a wide range of hobbies and has recently taken up bouldering, which feeds her love of movement and challenge. She’s a keen cinema-goer who always has a film recommendation ready, and she loves to travel, explore new places, and experience different cultures whenever she can.

  • Blair | Physiotherapist

    Blair is a Physiotherapist from Nova Scotia, Canada, with a BSc in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University and an MSc in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University. He holds additional certifications in orthopaedic manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and functional dry needling.

    He has worked with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, postural dysfunction, chronic pain, and post-operative rehabilitation. Blair takes a practical, hands-on approach, combining manual therapy with targeted exercise rehabilitation to identify the root cause of symptoms and support long-term recovery.

    A lifelong athlete, Blair has played ice hockey and baseball at junior levels and has worked with athletes from youth to professional sport. He has also worked with A-list actors and stunt performers within the film industry, supporting them through injury management, conditioning, and return-to-performance demands.

    Outside the clinic, Blair enjoys strength training, ice hockey, golf, and travelling.

  • Scott | Physiotherapist

    Scott is an Australian physiotherapist with a strong commitment to helping people move with confidence, reduce pain, and achieve long-lasting results through evidence-based care. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Physiotherapy, bringing a high level of clinical training and a thoughtful, structured approach to his practice.

    Scott began his career within the Australian public healthcare system, where he gained broad experience managing complex musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and neurological conditions. This early work provided him with a solid clinical foundation and a truly holistic understanding of the factors that influence recovery, resilience, and overall health.

    Alongside his public health work, Scott has significant experience in sport—particularly Australian football—where he managed acute injuries, implemented rehabilitation programmes, and supported athletes through safe and effective return-to-play pathways. His time in sports settings has shaped his clinical style, emphasising function, performance, and progressive rehabilitation.

    Scott has also completed postgraduate training in strength and conditioning, dry needling, and sports taping, allowing him to offer a well-rounded, practical, and highly individualised treatment approach.

    His sessions combine manual therapy, tailored exercise prescription, and clear education, ensuring clients understand their condition, feel supported, and remain actively engaged in their own recovery and long-term wellbeing. Scott’s calm manner, thorough assessments, and structured planning make him a valuable clinician for anyone seeking effective, goal-focused physiotherapy care.

    Cristiano | Physiotherapist

    Cristiano is a highly skilled physiotherapist from Italy with extensive experience across both private and public healthcare sectors. His career began in Italy, where he honed his expertise in various clinical settings before making the move to the UK. Here, he spent several years working with the NHS, gaining valuable insights into British healthcare and building his skills further. Eventually, Cristiano transitioned to focus full-time on musculoskeletal physiotherapy, where his dedication to patient care and rehabilitation has truly excelled.

    Outside of his professional life, Cristiano is deeply committed to maintaining an active and balanced lifestyle. He enjoys a range of sports, including running, padel, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which keep him both physically fit and mentally sharp. Alongside his love for physical activities, Cristiano has a passion for travel and exploration, always eager to discover new places.

    Carma | Sports Scientist

    Carma is South African born and raised, moving to London in September 2023 to further her studies and broaden her clinical career. She completed a Bachelor of Human Movement Science in South Africa before graduating with a BSc Sport and Exercise Science (Hons) from St Mary’s University in Twickenham, giving her a strong academic foundation in biomechanics, exercise physiology, and movement optimisation.

    Carma has a longstanding passion for physical activity and healthy living. With an impressive competitive background in Irish Dancing, having qualified five times to represent South Africa at the World Irish Dancing Championships, she brings a deep understanding of discipline, injury prevention, and performance demands. Her sporting experience extends beyond dance, having grown up immersed in a wide variety of athletic environments.

    Since retiring from competitive dance at the beginning of 2023, Carma has discovered a new enjoyment for running and continues to live an active lifestyle.

    Alongside her academic achievements, Carma is actively upskilling clinically within the Physio Edge team. She provides sports massage, delivers shockwave therapy, and is trained and qualified to run our PRP service, including blood draw, centrifugation, and preparation of platelet-rich plasma for treatment. Her growing clinical skillset, combined with her background in movement and performance, allows her to support patients with recovery, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement in a safe, structured, and evidence-based manner.

    Carma brings enthusiasm, kindness, and a strong work ethic to the clinic, and is dedicated to helping patients feel better, move better, and perform with confidence.

    Ewa | Massage Therapist

    Having graduated from the University of Physical Education in Poznań (Poland) with a Master's degree in Physiotherapy in 2007, Ewa nurtured a deep passion for massage.

    To further develop her skills, she pursued courses in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. In 2009, Ewa achieved a VTCT Certificate in Holistic Therapy and Indian Head Massage, solidifying her dedication. Ewa firmly believes in the potential of alternative therapies to alleviate the stresses of our fast-paced lives and restore the body's natural harmony.

    Outside of work, Ewa finds joy in travelling and dedicating time to yoga practice. These activities not only fulfil her personal interests but also contribute significantly to her holistic approach to wellness.

    Wayne | Massage Therapist

    Wayne is a seasoned massage therapist from Ireland, with a remarkable legacy of years spent nurturing and healing the Physio Edge patients (and our team at times).

    Renowned for expertise and brilliance in his craft, he’s now embarking on a new journey, retraining to become a physiotherapist. He already has a solid background in Strength and conditioning, which will make him an excellent physiotherapist down the line.

    Beyond his professional dedication, he cherishes time with his wife and children, embracing the joy they bring into his life and making the most of his precious family time.
